Brace Yourself for the Technological Reveal.
How technology is going to pull everyone’s pants down and expose them.
Technology is transforming our experience of being human. It is transforming our experience of Self. The experience of the human self — that which will be our children’s experience — is changing. When I look at the turmoil in the world and feel the global friction, I see people expressing a sense that our way of life is hitting a crisis point and will be forced to evolve.
Many people are deeply afraid of this change. Their nightmare is a future where we are living under the oppression of whatever it is ‘the State’ will have to become in order to keep civil order or under the ever-increasing oppression of the need to earn a living to survive in a world where technology renders most human labor and skills obsolete.
Having spent most of my life studying consciousness, I experience a different viewpoint. No one has words that will take away the pain and suffering that is presently being experienced. But I have words that can help take away the pain and suffering connected to our fear of the future and where we are heading.
Our fear for the future is a more significant part of the world’s pain than may be realized.
Despite the outward turmoil, the transformation of consciousness occurring on this planet will lead us into a new golden age. By understanding that we are heading towards something magnificent and sharing a vision of creating it together, I hope we can join our force of intention to begin to birth that connection we feel inside, out into the here and now of our shared outward world.
Although I acknowledge the world is in a crisis, I see it more as a tipping point. Our technological advancement has built up such a momentum that our arrival at where we are ‘tipping to’ is now inevitable.
Humanity is only just at the beginning of the information age. Few have yet to comprehend the shift in consciousness that it is catalyzing.
The predominant effect of our technical revolution is to bring us all closer together. Digital information now travels relatively freely around the globe. This has the effect of making the borders that once separated us more permeable. Though they may still stand as barriers to transport or immigration, they are no longer barriers to communicating information and understanding.
We are looking at each other in more detail than ever before, and we now know things about other countries that we once only knew about our next-door neighbors. With the ease of travel, the other side of the globe is now only 24 hours away. This further adds to the feeling that we are fundamentally closer together.
Contrasting ideas, customs, beliefs, and cultures that once could co-exist because of the strength of their physical separation, now find themselves directly contrasted, compared, and judged. Opposing ways of life that were once no threat to each other, now all feel threatened and eye each other distrustfully. This situation breeds fear, and experience has shown us that to fear something is to focus on it. This typically has the effect of creating whatever is feared so that it can be explored and resolved. This is evidenced by governments being found spying on each other and their own citizens.
Nothing currently opposes this momentum, and the trend of revealing the duplicities between public and private faces will continue
Logically, this progression will end in the destruction of the masks that we have known each other through from a personal to institutional/national level. Included in the erosion of the ability to hide information are technological developments that mean we are constantly being tracked and monitored. What humanity has not yet realized is that with the kind of technological advancement we are currently experiencing, we are making privacy a thing of the past. Any technology that can be developed to give us back privacy will eventually be overcome by a counter technology. So unless you enter into an endless cycle of constantly further protecting your privacy by constantly updating to the latest protections, your privacy will be invaded.
Technological advancement and personal privacy are fundamentally incompatible.
If a counter-technology is ever produced before a new protective technology can be introduced, then all the secrets will be out in the open for that time period. There is only one thing we can do if we don’t want to lose our privacy: ban most current technology and stop developing new technology. This obviously isn’t going to happen (unless we choose to experience it through the manifestation of a post-apocalyptic scenario).
Not only is technology causing us to feel far more pressed together, but it is also causing us to lose the ability to deceive each other. Many people fear that deep fakes created by artificial intelligence will make it easier for us to lie to each other. The opposite is true. The increasing presence of deep fakes is making us question information more than ever before, not less. With all evidence becoming suspect, we are forced to face our fears in deeper ways … we are forced to clarify our reality.
The AI that creates deep fakes will be instrumental in freeing us from fakery. The AI of the future will not be as easily fooled as humans.
Eventually the fight for personal privacy will end. as I said, this is simply an inevitability because of the exponential evolution of technology. Even though that may sound like a bad thing from our current vantage point, what it, in fact, will produce is the need to create governments and judicial systems that do not abuse the end of personal privacy. We are going to have to learn to cooperate more than ever before to adjust to the loss of privacy. Remember, this is not just talking about citizens losing privacy.
All the bodies that govern will lose their privacy, including governments, armies, police, doctors, insurance companies, the ‘supreme’ court, social services, political lobbies, world leaders, crime lords, criminals, pedophiles, slavers, Netanyahu / Putin, etc.
Not only are the borders falling to the movement of information, but everyone — from governments to companies to individuals — is systematically having their pants pulled down by hackers and whistleblowers. This process of lies, corruption, and deceit being revealed will continue, and it will be the true (rather than the manufactured / faked / masked) nature of our unified nature will be revealed. And that is to say…
When we see each other clearly, we will not fear each other because we will see that although we are different outwardly, we are not diverse at our hearts.
Within our heart, we are the same.
That which we call evil is just scared and wounded.
That which appears most divine is simply what we all are when we are not in fear.
