Shocking twist — ‘evil’ people only exist because of righteous ‘good’ people.
The Dark vs. the Fearful Light — When the ‘goodies’ and ‘baddies’ realize they’re no different.
“The paradox is profound: darkness is largely a reaction, a defense mechanism against the judgment and exclusion imposed by fearful righteousness.”
In the exploration of spiritual consciousness, one of the most misunderstood dualities is one that most people interpret as a battle between ‘the light’ and ‘the dark.’ Most typically, it is perceived through the lens of moral righteousness, yet this simplistic view obscures the profound realization of our interconnected existence … our unity … our oneness.
Understanding this dualistic view of the ‘right’ versus the ‘wrong’ through a more expansive lens reveals that it is not some supposed external force of ‘darkness’ that fosters separation and conflict, but rather a misunderstood and internal fear-driven concept of what many have labeled ‘the light’ (or perhaps now, in 2025, ‘the woke’).
The nature of reality is such that consciousness itself is perpetually in motion toward spiritual awakening — the remembering of its infinite, eternal nature. This continuous awakening is akin to riding an escalator, effortlessly ascending toward a more unified, collective state of consciousness.
Yet, we sometimes exert great energy resisting this natural state of expansion by clinging desperately to old, outdated paradigms. We strive, usually unconsciously, to maintain our comfort zones even as some imprison us and others collapse around us. The irony is that the structures we are so desperately trying to uphold — the old institutions and belief systems — are inevitably destined to crumble precisely because they represent limited, fear-based thinking.
Although this fundamental transformation may appear alarming or ‘drama-filled,’ it is not to be feared. Instead, it signals an exciting evolution, a beautiful rebirth into greater freedom and authenticity.
“It is not negative that old structures are dying. It is positive; it is what you want. It is the birth of the new and the death of the old.”
