The Window to Forever: Discovering the Infinite Through the Lens of Mortality.
Your imagination is infinite because it is a window on ‘the infinite.’
Our fear of death not just a part of the survival instinct; it is a reflection of our fear of ‘the Infinite’ within us. This fear of all that we are is also reflected in our fear of:
- Knowing all things already exist.
- Knowing existence is eternal / never-ending.
- Knowing we are infinite / unending in nature.
- Knowing we are the origin of our own experience.
- Knowing no limit to our freedom to create.
The amazing thing about these fears of our infinite nature is that regardless of whether or not you believe them changes nothing.
- Knowing you are the origin of your experience won’t change how you are the origin of your experience.
- Knowing you are immortal doesn’t stop you from being in an experience of mortality.
Coming to know your infinite nature changes the entire underpinning of your life, and it will feel like everything has changed. But then you realize that although you will more clearly understand your choice to be human, you are still within that choice, and there is a human life to be lived.
Our infinite nature is infinite freedom.
Whatever you want ‘is.’
In this state, nothing matters. This is not a negative statement. Things ‘mattering’ / things having meaning is a product of the finiteness of physical matter and the unrelenting linear flow of time that is integral to the embodied experience. With no past or future … without time-space:
- There can be no consequences in infinite freedom.
- There is no resistance.
- There is no fear.
- There are no barriers.
- There are no borders.
Without matter, nothing matters.
This is a part of understanding the excitement your spirit felt on seeing the possibility of the embodiment you are experiencing. Feel into what matters most to you. It is a potent part of your non-physical nature that has the power to punch its way into existence.
To know the Infinite is not to fear it. There is no reason to fear that:
- Everything that ever could be created has been created.
- Nothing new has been created since the beginning.
- You do not create your reality because it has all already been created.
- ‘Active’ creation is an illusion.
Remember, this is all from the perspective of spirit. From that perspective, everything already exists, so nothing is left to create. However, that which has been created is infinite.
There is no lack or limit here. If there was more to create, you could create it. But there is nothing you can conjure from your imagination that does not already exist. Why? Because your imagination is your window into the infinite. You cannot imagine anything that has not been created because your imagination is the window to creation. What you see in your imagination is there because it has been created.
Your imagination is infinite because your imagination is a window on ‘the infinite.’
Any fear created by these words comes from a lack of understanding of what something being infinite means. Infinity is not an enormous finite number. Infinite means without end. And it does not matter if you cannot add to something without end. That cannot limit you in any way.
The beautiful paradox is that to appreciate this infinite creation, we have been blessed with limited consciousness. We are blessed with ignorance and blindness. We are blessed because if we did not have limited consciousness, we would have infinite consciousness. And, if we had infinite consciousness, we would experience the infinity of everything. And that is one thing … a singular unchanging experience.
Infinite consciousness can perceive infinite creation. To our eyes, it holds this single image within its perception eternally. However, as creation contains all potential moments, there can be no experience of moving through time. Therefore, infinite consciousness exists in a static, timeless state.
Mortality is the infinite experiencing itself from a limited perspective.
